New Delhi: In the 20th match of the ICC World T20, South Africa led by Faf du Plessis beat minnows Afghanistan by 37 runs.  


Over 20 | Score 172/10 (Amir Hamza 3)

Rabada to bowl the last over of the match, which is just a formality as the match is virtually over. Rabada bamboozled Shapoor Zadran wicket off the last ball as South Africa beat minnows Afghanistan by 37 runs. 


Over 19 | Score 169/9 (Amir 1)

Morris got his dues as he picked two more wickets his last over in the form of Rashid and Zardan. Afghanistan need 41 runs with off 6 balls.

N Zadran hit Rabada for a six and a boundary in the first three balls. But Rabada has the last laugh as he sent the batsman back in the hut off the last ball.

Wiese to continue. Nabi picked a boundary off the first ball. Then came two singles and a wide. Last ball another single. Eight from the over. Afghanistan need 70 runs with off 30 balls.

Chris Morris back to bowl his 3rd over. Minnows are still scoring runs at a pace of RR of 9.42. Shenwari got his 3rd boundary via thick edge towards third man. Eight from the over. Afghanistan need 78 runs with off 36 balls.

Morris picked up his 2nd wicket as he got the better of Stanikzai. Excellent over by the pacer as he gave mere four runs and picked a crucial wicket.
