New Delhi: India veteran fast bowler Ashish Nehra revealed about what India's premier batsman Virat Kohli said ahead of the side's batting against Australia in the recently concluded ICC World Twenty20.
Australia batted first against India in Mohali in a crucial Super 10, Group 2 match that served as a virtual quarter-finals game. India went on to win the match by six wickets with Virat Kohli slamming 82 runs.
According to media reports Nehra revealed that Kohli had said to the dug out that even if the required run-rate rises to 10-12 runs an over, it isn't a big deal. He also asked the rest of the players to stay calm and not worry about the required rate.
Virat in the end ensured he stayed right till the end and chased down Australia's total of 160 runs in 19.1 overs. Kohli then produced another special innings against West Indies in the semis, but India were thrashed and therefore had to bow out of the tourney.
