New Delhi: Pakistani T20I skipper Shahid Afridi has landed into yet another controversy as a lawyer from Lahore has issued him a legal notice for saying that he received more love from Indian fans as compared to back home.

According to a report in thenews.com.pk, the remarks made by Afridi were against the interest of Pakistan, therefore, he should apologize to nation and withdraw his statement.

Soon after landing in India, Afridi had said, "India mein humne humesha cricket enjoy kia,yahan ke logon se humein bahut pyar mila,itna pyar humein Pak mein bhi ni mila jitna yahan."

Afridi faced severe criticism after Pakistan's pathetic show in recently concluded Asia Cup 2016 where the team was knocked out of the tournament by Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Pakistan cricket great Javed Miandad lambasted Afridi and Shoaib Malik for the comments they made about playing in India during their Sunday press conference.

Speaking to Aaj TV channel, Miandad said players making such remarks should be ashamed of themselves.
