World Twenty20: Eden Gardens reverberates with 'Sachin Sachin' chants ahead of India-Pakistan match

New Delhi: Eden Gardens on Saturday reverberated with familiar chants of 'Sachin Sachin' when Sachin Tendulkar made an appearance for a felicitation ceremony ahead of the India-Pakistan match.

Before the start of the match, legendary cricketers Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Tendulkar and actor Amitabh Bachchan were felicitated by Cricket Association of Bengal and West Bengal CM.

While the Kolkata crowd showed their appreciation for all personalities, the loudest cheer was reserved for Tendulkar.

The cricket-mad Bengal crowd chanted 'Sachin Sachin', making deafening noise when Tendulkar's name was called out to say a few words.

While the main attraction of the evening was the big game, it was wonderful to relive some old memories as fans showed their love for Tendulkar.
