London: Eoin Morgan has said England is fully prepared for the upcoming one-day series with India, and added that they are looking to carry the momentum after winning the Test series 2-1.
Ashley Giles’ men play the first warm-up game on Sunday against India A ahead of the five-match series which begins in Rajkot on Friday.
Most members of the 15-man squad have spent plenty of time in India already this winter, the Sun reports. Seven played a part in the famous 2-1 Test series win and six more featured in the drawn Twenty20 series.
Morgan said it’s the start of a new year after the successful year they had in 2012 and there are a lot of foundations already set so it’s a matter of building on that.
Morgan added that the majority of our preparation has already been done pre-Christmas and they are prepared for their series.
