New Delhi: At a time when the young crop of cricketers are battling injuries day in and out, Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh today said that there is a lack of good physiotherapists and rehabilitation centres.
"Infrastructure can always be improved. There are lack of good physios. We also need to get a good plan for rehab. There is also a lack of enough indoor facilities in cricket," Yuvraj said. Set to tell the world in detail the story of his battle with cancer in a book titled `In different form`, Yuvraj was in the Capital to launch London Olympics bronze medallist shuttler Saina Nehwal`s book `Playing To Win`. Yuvraj`s book it is said, is an honest account of a sportsman fighting for not just victory, but life. The stylish left-hander gives detailed account of how he he went into a denial mode after being diagnosed with a rare germ cell cancer, and how he eventually accepted it. Of how he battled chemotherapy, from how he started wielding the willow again in international cricket. Yuvraj, though, was not candid about it. The batsman instead, like Saina, preferred to talk only sport. PTI
