Hyderabad: There were no live pictures for the first fifteen minutes of the match between India and England, the reason for which was due to a dispute between the host broadcaster and the BCCI.
According to reports, the blackout was due to a delay by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in New Delhi in approving uplinking facilties. The delay resulted in millions of viewers losing out live coverage of the first three overs.
India play England in the first of their five-match ODI series on Friday and this was India`s first match at home after their World Cup victory.
