AUSTRALIA Overs: 90 II Score: 236/9 (Henriques 77*, Lyon 10*)

Three runs came in the 87th over bowled by Jadeja. The next fetched Australia just a single followed by two consecutive maidens. Six overs have been bowled today and the pair looks determined to see this early hour of play safely.

Giving company to Jadeja from the other end is man-in-form R Ashwin. Ashwin has taken a total of 12 wickets already in this match. Facing him is Nathan Lyon. Some solid defending from the right-hander. Can these two take the lead past 100 runs? Another maiden.
====================================================================================

AUSTRALIA Overs: 85 II Score: 232/9 (Henriques 75*, Lyon 8*)

Ravindra Jadeja has begun the proceedings of the final day’s play. He is bowling with a slip and a gully. Henriques is on the strike and has Nathan Lyon at the other end for company. A maiden over to start off with. India will look to take this final wicket as soon as possible.
====================================================================================

AUSTRALIA Overs: 84 II Score: 232/9 (Henriques 75*, Lyon 8*)

With just one wicket in hand and a slender lead of 40 runs, Australia are staring at defeat in the first Test at the hands of their hosts India. R Ashwin has continued with his form taking five wickets in the second innings as well. Only Moises Henriques with a dogged 75* was able to put up some fight against rampaging Indians. Even first innings centurion Michael Clarke wasn’t allowed to settle down as he departed after showing an early intent to counterattack.
