Hussey urges Australia to keep faith in current batsmen during India Test seriesSydney: Retired Australian great Michael Hussey has urged selectors to keep faith in their current crop of batsmen following their horrendous batting display in the first two Test matches against India, and he added recalling him in the Test team won`t solve any problems.

The 37-year-old said he`d have answered in a big no if Australian captain Michael Clarke asked him to end his Test retirement.

Hussey said the selectors have picked a squad for this tour so you have got to try and believe and back the guys you have chosen and show faith in them, adding he thinks that is really important.

Hussey added it looks like it has been pretty tough batting on those wickets so he doesn`t think he would have had too much of a say.

Hussey, regarded with Clarke as Australia`s finest players of spin bowling, announced his retirement from Test cricket last January, and the prolific run-scorer`s absence has been keenly felt as Australia crashed to consecutive Test losses in India.

The left-handed batsman said it has been tough to watch, adding it looks like it has been tough for the boys over there, no doubt about it, and the mood would be pretty flat, he would have thought.
