Matthew Wade predicts ``highly charged`` series against IndiaSydney: Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade is expecting plenty of passion when the first Test starts on February 22.

Wade will captain Australia in their opening two-day tour match starting tonight in Chennai against an Indian Board President`s XI.

Wade said his quicks don`t plan their verbal battles and won`t be following the method used so successfully by pace great Glenn McGrath in targeting batsmen.

He said India compete hard and so do Australia, which is why, he believes, over the years there have been so many tough contests.

The Indians are smarting from their 2-1 Test-series loss to England at home in December and they were crushed 4-0 on last summer`s tour of Australia.

However, Australia have won only one of their past eight Test series in India and that was in 2004, led by wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist.

Wade denied it was an especially good time to play India who are fifth in the Test rankings, two places below Australia.

Australia lost their three-Test series 1-0 to top-ranked South Africa and swept the Lankans 3-0. Wade further said that coming to India is not easy by any stretch.

He said that it is going to be a tough series, adding that he won`t give any fuel to the fire there.
