Hyderabad: Security has been beefed up in Hyderabad ahead of the 2nd Test between India and Australia beginning on Saturday.

Australia’s tour of India had been put in jeopardy after twin blasts rocked the city a week back killing 15 people and injuring 118 others.

CA security expert Frank Dimasi arrived in Hyderabad ahead of the second Test and is understood to be satisfied with the security arrangement provided by the hosts.

2000 police and five platoons of armed forces are set to stand guard in the second Test. Additionally spectators have been asked not to carry mobile phones and cameras into the ground.

Security has also reportedly been increased in the hotel where the two teams are staying.
