According to reports, Hughes’ funeral will be held in his home town of Macksville on Wednesday at 2 pm, with players of past and present are expected to attend the ceremony. The date for the commencement of the first Test hasn't been decided. Earlier on Saturday, former Aussie cricketer Allan Border felt that next week's first Test between Indian and Australia should be pushed back by three days so that the players can take part in the funeral of Phillip Hughes. Even Ricky Ponting had pitched in for the Test match at Brisbane to be started later as he felt the players will not be in mental condition to play the game.
