New Delhi: Australian speedster Josh Hazlewood made a memorable debut in the second Test of the ongoing four-match series against India where he picked a five-wicket haul in the first innings of the Gabba Test.
Hazlewood looked Australia's best bowler on Day 1 where he scalped two wickets but struggled towards the end with cramps and had to leave the field minutes before stumps. But the 23-year-old took the new ball on Day 2 where he first dismissed Ajinkya Rahane with a peach of a delivery for 81 and followed it with the wickets of Ravichandran Ashwin and MS Dhoni to reach the remarkable feat.
Hazlewood's stupendous effort was hailed by the likes of Glenn McGrath and also Michael Clarke.
Josh good boy. Massive congrats to the youngster. 5 on debut. What a star.
