Axar gives away three runs to Haddin with Sharma making a very important save in the boundary to cut a run. Two LBW shouts follow but Dharamsena doesn't give it. Five runs come from the over.

Shami bowls the first ball and well he pulls his hamstring to go off the field. Bhuvi comes to bowl the rest of the over and after a decent first ball gets Maxwell caught and bowled. Faulkner comes in and well three dot balls. Bhuvi is brilliant here.

Umesh Yadav ends on a high here. Five tight deliveries to just concede a run. Axar comes in to bowl and Haddin gets off strike to put Maxwell face the former. He gets a dot ball before Maxi gets vital two runs. He then gets two runs inside out before giving a single. 20 needed now.

Umesh bowls a good over in the situation conceding just three runs. Ashwin then gets Bailey who tried to work the ball around his pads and an imbalance sees MS Dhoni stump him. Haddin comes in and gets Maxwell on the strike. Maxwell carnage is on as he thrashes Ashwin for a six and a four to get the pressure back to India.

Two wickets have fallen with Shami and Yadav getting apiece each. Maxwell and Bailey have come and the match is poised in favour of the hosts as Australia are in commanding situation still. India need wickets.

Ashwin is consistently bowling in the leg side and easy runs keep coming. Bhuvi then bowls replacing Shami and six runs come from the over. Ashwin then concedes a four to Smith who plays a very good shot through the off side. 150 comes up for Australia. Smith then plays a cut shot for four. Ashwin has looked poor here. 10 runs come

Smith plays an amazing shot after timing the ball through mid-on off Shami for four. He then bowls a yorker and Smith defends it out. Smith then gets a two after a nice flick shot. Seven runs come from the over. Shami hasn't impressed much and has been wayward at times.

Ashwin continues and just 3 runs come from his over. Smith needs to continue his Test form here and alongside Finch can cause trouble against India. Finch meanwhile, gets to his fifty as Shami is brought back who is again tending to be on the leg side. Some good looking strokes for twos. Ashwin then rolls his arms once again and he hasn't looked much convincing. Three runs come.

Finch slaps Ashwin for a four through the off-side. Next over Axar gets a wicket in the form of Watson who tries to sweep the former and is castled. The dangerous Steve Smith comes in.

Seven overs have gone by and the duo of Finch and Watson have ensured runs are coming along. They have put on a good partnership as India's spin combo is trying to get a wicket here.

Kumar has done an excellent job for India. He continues in the same manner and keeps the run flow at check. The length has been controlled and the duo at the crease are watchful against him. Yadav then gets a maiden over for a change. Pace and some good deliveries with the last one teasing Finch. Good to see that. Axar is introduced and the first ball Watson cuts him for four through point. Five runs come from his over.

Kumar looks the only good bowler here as he again shows his vitality. Two runs conceded from his over after bowling tight. Yadav is back and Warner tries to smack him but latches on to Suresh Raina who takes a neat catch. Watson then flicks one to the boundary.

Kumar and Shami don't give away much runs in the fifth and sixth over, keeping it tight. Australia are batting well here and running between the wickets has been good. Shami then comes in and well Finch plays a perfect shot for four through covers. Warner then smashes through square leg for another boundary in the over. He then runs two with Kohli allowing them. Bad start from India here. Aussies are in top gear mode.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar starts off with the proceedings and gives away 5 runs. 13 runs then come from Umesh Yadav's over. Not a good start from the Delhi lad. Finch punishes him for two boundaries. Kumar then controls the run-rate with a tidy over. Shami replaces Yadav straightaway and well he allows the batsman Warner too much room in the leg side with his short ball approach and gets punished.

Cummins gives away just five runs from his over. Australian pacers have bowled top class here. India have faltered to get anything after it looked promising once. Starc then comes and destoys India's hopes. He first gets Sharma who gives a catch after trying to give room to himself. Next ball he gets Bhuvneshwar for a first ball duck.

Sandhu ends his spell of 10 overs giving away just six from his last one. India failing to get a move on with Ashwin struggling here. Faulkner then impresses with his slower balls before Sharma gets a much needed six off the final ball.

Dhoni goes after chopping a shot to his stumps. He really didn't look threatening in the middle. Axar comes in. He then goes for a big heave and misses before getting trapped LBW. What an over. Starc is on song here. India unlikely now to stake a claim for a big total unless Rohit does the damage. Starc has changed it here. Two wickets and a maiden from Starc. Gold!

50 runs partnership come between Rohit and Dhoni. 10 runs come from the over. Sandhu bowls and Rohit gets an important boundary here. Nice shot!

Starc comes back and Sharma opens the bat o get a four through third man. Starc then keeps Dhoni in check. Australia have bowled really well. Eight runs come from the over. The pace attack have looked brilliant. India need a move on from here and post a total above 280 or even more.

Cummins bowls well to give away just three runs. Faulkner then concedes a four to Dhoni off the first ball but bowls very well to keep it tight after that. Cummins bowls the 40th over and its good back of a length bowling. Rohit then pulls a shot over mid-wicket boundary for four. Seven runs from the over.

Cummins bowls and Rohit takes a single to give the strike to Dhoni. The skipper smashes a shot past point for four. Sharma then gets to his hundred in Starc's over. The latter bowls a very good line and length and doesn't allow Dhoni to get any shot. Just two runs come.

Powerplay is taken and well Raina goes after getting his fifty. Starc gets the wicket. He tries to clear the mid on fielder but finds Maxwell.

Rohit gets all over Faulkner and scores two boundaries. 11 runs come. Watson then bowls some clever balls and just gives away three runs.

Sandhu continues and Raina gets a boundary through fine leg. Five runs come from the over. Faulkner then tries some slow deliveries but gives away a wide and a no-ball (height). Sandhu continues and Rohit smacks him through fine leg for four after hitting a pull shot.

Maxwell comes in to bowl and Rohit creates room and lashes through the extra-cover region for four. Sandhu then concedes 11 runs after Rohit gets three runs through long leg boundary before Raina gets a four through fine leg. Maxwell then concedes 9 runs as Rohit gets three runs through the cover. Raina then gets two after taking charge through mid-wicket and that is followed by a boundary.

Cummins gives away a boundary as Rohit gets a shot through the fine leg boundary. Watson then concedes eight runs as Raina whips one through the mid-wicket boundary alongside four singles that come. Rohit then gets on top to get his fifty as he whack a shot for six through long on. Eight runs come from the following two overs before Sandhu is given the ball. The medium pacer again bowls a tight over. Raina gets a quick single off his hips. Rohit survives a LBW appeal and then as they run there is a throw at the wicket by Maxwell and a close chance goes begging.

Watson bowls another good looking over as he keeps it simple and tight. Cummins then concedes a four with Raina pulling a shot through mid-wicket for four. Next over Raina cracks one to the boundary after hitting Watson over mid-on.

Watson has been bowling well and has shone in the Aussie pace attack. Starc is brought back and gets a maiden with Sharma happy to see it off. Watson then bowls another miserly over conceding just two runs. Starc continues and Sharma hits a perfect shot for six. He pulls a short ball that sails over the boundary.

Sharma gets a boundary after driving Cummins through the cover. Sandhu then continues to give away just four runs. Faulkner is introduced in the attack and Kohli bats well picking some vital twos. Eight runs come from the over. Another change as Watson is given the ball and he starts well. Kohli then departs after playing on to a loose shot off a short ball and is gone. India in trouble here.

Starc bowls nicely again after giving away just three runs. India origin Gurinder Sandhu gets the ball and well he bowls a decent first over giving away just one run. Cummins then also keeps it tight not allowing much for the batsmen. Sandhu then gets the big fish. Rahane playe a loose shot and edges to Haddin.

Rahane gets lucky with a boundary close to the off stump. Inside edge past the stumps. He then hits a classy shot past the point fielder for a boundary off a short ball. 10 runs come from the over. Rohit then gets into the act as he hits Cummins for a six. A lofted shot over the bowler's head. He then runs four after placing a ball through mid-wicket.

Mitchell Starc has started in the same note he had done against England. Bounce and good carry with some swing. He gets Dhawan hit on the pads and that looked close but umpire decided otherwise. In the fifth ball he removes Dhawan who looked tentative. He tried to lash out at an away going delivery and edged it to slips with Finch taking the catch. Cummins starts and good over from the pacer with just two runs coming from the over.
