New Delhi: Under fire Indian seamer Ishant Sharma has reportedly not visited his bowling coach Shrawan Kumar for a long time and instead practices in his own academy now.
DNA quoted a Delhi cricketer as saying that Ishant ‘doesn’t go to his coach anymore’ despite his residence being quiet near to the Gymkhana Club.
The daily quoted his coach as saying that the lanky pacer is mostly busy with his international commitments so he has not visited him for a very long time.
Pointing out the reasons for Ishant’s horrendous show against Australia in the ongoing ODI series, former India cricketer Manoj Prabhakar has insisted that the bowler needs to work on his problems with his coach.
Ishant has come under heavy criticism for his performance in the three ODIs against the visiting Australian side and especially after leaking 30 runs in an over in the Mohali ODI that effectively tilted balance of the game in favour of the Kangaroos.
