The Bangladeshi openers changed gears in the sixth over of the innings. Tamim Iqbal, who had a slow start till that over, smashed Umesh Yadav for three boundaries and a six in the sixth over of the innings. Soumya followed it with two boundaries each in the 7th and the 8th over. The intention has been very positive from these two and they are trying their best to send India on the backfoot with their aggressive approach.

Over 5 | Score 27/0 (Tamim 10*, Soumya 15*)

Both Bhuvan and Umesh have bowled with a disciplined line and length so far. Soumya has already scored two boundaries so far. Tamim is taking his time to settle down, but it's extremely important from Bangladesh's perspective that he finds his rhythm. Bangladesh's success over the years in limited-overs cricket has depended a lot on how Tamim has shaped his innings. The local crowd is cheering for each and every run scored by their team.
