India vs Bangladesh: What should MS Dhoni's playing XI be for 3rd ODI?

New Delhi: After losing a first bilateral series against Bangladesh, most of the armchair critics are pointing out India's team selection as a major reason behind the successive two losses.

Let's find out what should be the perfect playing XI of MS Dhoni for the third and final ODI, where India will play for pride.

Six batsmen: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni.

All-rounder: Stuart Binny

Four Bowlers: Mohit Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni, R Ashwin, Umesh Yadav.

It's high time Ravindra Jadeja should be dropped from the ODI side after a string of poor performances since quite sometime. Jadeja's role as an all-rounder has been rather sheepish with both ball and bat.

Axar Patel has age on his side and needs to horn his skills while playing Ranji Trophy and other domestic tournaments. The 21-year-old hasn't shown improvement and it presents his lack of experience at the top level.

Since coming back from the injury Bhuvneshwar Kumar isn't looking sharp at all, and can be dropped for the final ODI. Kumar has failed to get wickets top of the order with the new ball.

Ambati Rayudu, though mostly performed whenever given a chance, but for the third ODI he shouldn't be included. Rayudu's presence in the team has been rather inconsistent and he should either feature or be left out completely.

All-rounder Stuart Binny should be given a chance in the 3rd ODI as his track record against the Tigers is exceptional. If the medium pacer does well with ball and bat, it gives him an onus ahead of Jadeja and Axar in the future.
