India vice-captain Virat Kohli who scored 23 runs against Bangladesh in the second ODI in Mirpur on Sunday, defended a free hit delivery instead of going for a cleaner.

New Delhi: India vice-captain Virat Kohli who scored 23 runs against Bangladesh in the second ODI in Mirpur on Sunday, defended a free hit delivery instead of going for a cleaner.
India were 21/1 in 3.5 overs and Taskin Ahmed bowled a front foot no ball when Virat was facing him.
The next ball was a good length delivery outside the off stump and Virat defended the ball towards the point region rather than going for a big hit.

Bangladesh beat India by six wickets in the second ODI and sealed the three-match ODI series 2-0. The final match is to be played at Mirpur on 24th June.
