London: Statistical highlights of Day 3 of the fifth and final Test between Indian and England.
# Root has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the third time in Tests, all at home - the first two were against Sri Lanka and Australia at Lord`s this year.
# Broad`s splendid 37 off 21 balls is his highest Test score as number ten batsman, bettering the 33 vs Australia at Lord`s in 2013.
# Gautam Gambhir has produced his worst batting performance in a Test series when he has played atleast two Tests - his tally being 25 in four innings at an average of 6.25.
