New Zealand won the match by 7 wickets
New Zealand have registered the series win over the world champions who fell to the KIwi batting prowess. First it was the openers, who right in the first five overs, battered the Indian bowling, and later Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor's partnership further cemented the Kiwi win. Brendon McCullum's blistering innings of 49 runs off 36 balls finished an excellent win for the Kiwis. McCullum fired a six off the last delivery to register their win.

Taylor in the same over, brought up his century in style with a lovely four. 14 runs off the over and eleven runs off the last two overs. Both brilliant ones to reach 49 runs! Brought up his fifty taking a single in Rayadu's next over. Williamson, meanwhile, in the same over hit a huge six over the cover. A very expensive over by Rayadu. 13 runs off it. Shami was brought back in the 29th over, only to add 8 more runs to the Kiwi tally. Nine runs off Ashwin's 30th. This over also brought up Williamson's 4th fifty of the series!

Kumar's 21st over conceded 2 runs. Meanwhile, India's 200th cap to play in ODIs' Stuart Binny, who did not get a chance to bat today, finally got to bowl the first ball of his international career in the 22nd over. Eight runs off it, with a boundary by Taylor. Off Bhuvi's 23rd over, Williamson hit a massive six to bring up the fifty runs partnership between him and Taylor. Ten runs off the 24th and 25th over. India need wickets, the Kiwi scoreboard is running fast.

Eleventh was a maiden over by Jadeja. Ashwin, who couldn't do wonders with the bat today, began with the 12th over, conceded four runs off it. Jadeja, bowling really well, conceded only two overs in his next. Two more runs off Ashwin's next. With the kind of start the Kiwis have got, they just need to carry the same momentum forward to win the match. Taylor's boundary added to the six runs in Jadeja's 15th over.
Over 10 || Score 65/2
New Zealand need 214 runs to win the match.
The last five overs got two wickets for the Indians. They are done away with both the Kiwi openers. After Shami and Kumar were hammered by the openers in the first seven overs (21 runs were scored in 6th and 7th over), Varun Aaron was introduced in the eight over. That worked for the Indians. Varun got rid of hard hitting Jesse Ryder. Kane Williamson joined Guptill at number 3. Williamson has had a good run in the last four ODI's, scoring over 50 in all the innings. He could be as dangerous. And in the ninth over Shami trapped Guptill in front. India get two early breakthroughs. Ross Taylor joins Williamson.
Ryder b Aaron 19 (18b, 4x4)
Guptill lbw b Mohammed Shami 35 (27b, 6x4, 1x6)
Over 5 || Score 33/0
The Kiwi openers Guptill and Jesse Ryder have been dealing in boundaries in the first five overs. Not a very good first over from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Guptill hit two boundaries in the over. Mohammed Shami began with the second over, Jesse Ryder opened his account with fours runs with a boundary through the third man, and added two more in the over. Guptill began Bhuvi's third over with another four runs, this time the ball went towards the rope through the cover. Finally, a better fourth over by Shami, Four runs off it. Ryder smashed yet another boundary through the covers in the fifth over, adding five runs off it.

New Zealand need 279 runs to win the match.
What a rescue knock by the Indian skipper Dhoni and R Jadeja! The duo stitched a partnership of a whooping 127 runs to take the scores to a competitive total. At one point where wickets were falling at such a rapid place, a healthy total looked far away, but the duo have scored well enough to let the bowlers do the remaining task. India, in the last match levelled the series and this is a decider match for both the sides. The last over added 17 runs with Jadeja scoring 62 runs off 54 balls including 8 fours and two sixes. Scoring 79 off 73 balls, with six fours and three sixes, Dhoni finished the innings with a massive six with his favourite shot – the helicopter one!
Over 42 || Score 200/5
Rohit Sharma fell to Williamson in the 33rd over. Though he was the only one who looked in a mood to score today, his one poor shot selection cost him his wicket. R Ashwin whose blistering innings in the last match had helped India draw the match, could not continue his form today. He too was out right in the 34th over. After Ashwin's departure, Ravindra Jadeda and MS Dhoni have taken the total to 200 with some good shot making all over the park. The 42nd over added 15 runs to the Indian total. Bennett was literally punished by the India duo. However, they really need to a bat well now in the last eight overs to at least give the Kiwis a competitive score.
Sharma c Ronchi b Williamson 79 (94b, 6x4, 4x6)
Ashwin c Bennett b Southee 5 (3b, 1x4)
Over 30 || Score 121/3
India is in deep trouble after losing early wickets. Indian batsmen seem unable to handle the short pitched deliveries of the Kiwi bowlers! While Virat Kohli top edged Southee short ball right in the fourth over, Ajinkya Rahane too fell to Mills in the ninth over. Again on a short ball.
Ambati Rayadu too top edged Bennett's short ball, safely to the keeper! By the 26th over, India had lost three wickets at a score of 103 runs.
Kohli c Neesham b Southee 2 (10b)
Rahane c Southee b Mills 3 (8b)
Rayudu c Ronchi b Bennett 37 (58b, 3x4, 2x6)
India won the toss and opted to bat first in a change of strategy in the fourth one-day international against New Zealand in Hamilton on Tuesday.
Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said he believed his side had only been playing at "60 percent of potential" and needed a lift in the crucial fourth match.
They have made two changes, with Ambati Rayudu and Stuart Binny coming in for Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan. It will be Binny`s one-day international debut.
New Zealand have also made two changes, with Kyle Mills and Jimmy Neesham replacing frontline bowler Mitchell McClenaghan and all-rounder Corey Anderson.
