New Delhi: While Virender Sehwag might be famous for giving trolls to twitter, Rohit Sharma is becoming famous for taking trolls from Twitter.
While many were expecting the Mumbaikar to perform at his favourite hunting ground – the Eden Gardens – he failed when India needed him the most.
Cheteshwar Pujara (87) got out when India were on 187 and much was expected from Rohit Sharma to pair up with the settled Ajinkya Rahane and guide India forward from a tricky situation.
After facing just 12 deliveries, from which he made 2 runs, Rohit was removed by New Zealand's Jeetan Patel.
Thanks to Wriddhiman Saha's unbeaten knock of 54 runs, India were able to cross the 300-run mark.
Following his dissapointing performance in the whites yet again, Twitter was in no mood to forgive him. Here's how he was trolled!
So what if this is a test match. Rohit Sharma didn't waste too many balls. All for the team & country!

Rohit Sharma 2(12). If you did not notice the talent in his walk back to pavilion, something's really wrong with you. #INDvNZ
