WATCH: HILARIOUS! Virat Kohli interrupts Ravindra Jadeja's 'swordplay' celebration, declares innings

New Delhi: Ravindra Jadeja was India's standout performer during the 1st Test against New Zealand at Kanpur.

Jaddu produced an all-round performance, taking six wickets and scoring 92 runs (42, 50*) to walk away with the man-of-the-match award.

While there was never a doubt about the left-arm spinner's pedigree with the ball on turning tracks, it was Jadeja's batting that was under the scanner.

The Saurashtra all-rounder responded to his critics in style as he hit an unbeaten fifty at a crucial juncture in the 2nd innings.

Delighted with his knock, Jadeja celebrated his effort by brandishing his bat like a sword.

Unfortunately for Jaddu, skipper Virat Kohli interrupted his special moment and declared India's innings.

This was not the first time Jadeja unleashed his unique celebration on the pitch. He also did so in the heated Lord's Test between India and England few years back.
