Shashank Manohar meets DDCA officials amid doubts over Kotla Test

New Delhi: BCCI president Shashank Manohar on Friday held talks with DDCA officials in the capital.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Manohar discussed matters pertaining to the state association's ability to successfully host the fourth and final Test between India and South Africa at the Feroz Shah Kotla in December.

“The Test match is on schedule and there are no concerns. We have spoken to him (Manohar) and he is satisfied,” a senior DDCA official told HT.

The DDCA failed to submit its balance sheet to the BCCI, which is why it is no longer receiving funds from the board's funding scheme.

The faction-ridden DDCA's coffers are empty and it is not in a position to pay tax dues and other bills.
