New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the squad for upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.

The all-India Senior Selection Committee met earlier in the day, and while MS Dhoni will lead the squad, Virat Kohli, who had a terrific series Down Under, has been rested by the Indian board.

 

Pawan Negi, who was impressive for Chennai Super Kings in the last few seasons of Indian Premier League, received a maiden call-up.

Complete T20I squad:

MS Dhoni (Captain), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pawan Negi.

 

The three-match series is scheduled to begin from February 9.

The Women’s Selection Committee also announced the team for their Sri Lankan tour.
