R Ashwin completed the 13th over and conceded 6 runs off it. Ojha began with the 14th giving a single off it. Ashwin’s 15th over added 17 runs to the West Indies total. Off the fifth delivery, Samuels hit the ball through the covers for four runs. Five runs off the over. Ashwin added 6 runs in the next over with Gayle hitting the second delivery straight past mid wicket for four runs. Right when the batsmen were looking set, Samuels got out hitting a very poor shot. Wicket: MN Samuels st Dhoni b Ojha 11 (18b 2x4)
Sachin Tendulkar has led the Indian team to the field. Arjun Tendulkar is again the ball boy today. The 'Sachinn..Sachinn...' chants are doing rounds at the Wankhede stadium. West Indies batsmen Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels have arrived at the crease. R Ashwin will continue with his over and P Ojha has joined him from the other end.
It is unlikely that the match is going to last for 5 days. West Indies trail by 270 and have already lost 3 wickets. A defeat by an innings and some runs is almost predictable. Gayle and Samuels will definitely look to hang in and manage some runs, but considering Gayle’s dismissals in last innings, and the Kolkata Test, it seems he is still in the T20 mode. Chanderpaul is yet to bat.
It would be miraculous if the Indians are put to bat again. That means, no more Sachin now. The Indian victory will surely be dedicated to the Master Blaster and it is the on-field post-victory celebration, the fans would like to see now.

STUMPS: The Windies are once again wobbling as they have lost two more wickets in quick succession. Tino Best was dismissed by Pragyan Ojha and he was a little unfortunate as the ball seemed to go down the leg side. India are in commanding position as they now lead by 270 runs and the Windies have just seven wickets in hand. Not to forget, it was just the second day of the Test match.
