New Delhi: Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar today described the West Indies Test team, which lost Sachin Tendulkar`s farewell series 0-2, even worse than a club team after the visiting side suffered an innings defeat inside three days in both the matches.
"The West Indies team is not even a club side. It has just one or two experienced players and the rest of the members are not good enough to test the Indian batsmen. It`s the most pathetic West Indies team in many years," Gavaskar said. "Whatever selection or other issues they have, the West Indies will have to sort out quickly. Otherwise, they will remain like this only," he told a TV channel.
