Mumbai, June 01: Reacting strongly to the split-up rumours, Katrina Kaif might have quashed all insalubrious gossip about her love affair gone kaput with Salman Khan. But the couple is yet to put forward a united front on the issue, as Katrina’s conspicuous absence from Salman’s parties continues to ignite the gossip mills.After going all out to rebuke break-up reports, one would have imagined the couple to show their solidarity and affection by making joint appearances. But on the contrary, the two continue to maintain their distance, sparking rumours that all is yet to be well. What’s latest is that Salman Khan, who is known to give the most lavish parties, had a grand bash at his Bandra home for the cast and crew of his ‘Dus Ka Dum’. And though all were present, Katrina was once again missing from the grand ball. The actress, who was nowhere in sight, left tongues wagging. As to the whereabouts of Katrina, buzz has it that the swishy babe was with John. And one might call it a publicity stunt or cheap antics, but Kaif and Abraham’s reported closeness has rocked the Sallu-Kat relationship in the most unsavory way. Even though the lovelorn twosome weren’t hailed as Bollywood’s ideal couple, the two did manage to keep their fracas under wraps. But with Katrina’s growing proximity with Sallu’s foe John, things went out of control, showing cracks in the quarrelsome lover’s paradise. Confirming the news, a daily quoted a source as saying, "Sallu called everyone associated with his show 10 Ka Dum from the channel folk, crew to the producers Anita and Siddharth Basu to watch the first episode together at his home. It was a happy get together. Everyone was enjoying themselves so much that no one missed Kat`s presence."
