I am shocked and upset, says BCCI President Srinivasan

New Delhi: BCCI President N Srinivasan said he is shocked and upset on learning about the spot-fixing scandal that led to the arrest of three players of IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals.
He added that it was difficult to keep track of every player but prompt action has been taken as the three players in question have already been suspended by the board.
Quashing any doubts being raised about how the incident would affect the future of the Indian Premiere League, he assured that the ‘’IPL will continue’’.
He said that action will be taken against the players once the police report is out.
Earlier S Sreesanth and two other players - Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila - had been arrested on charges of spot-fixing.
The police have also arrested seven bookies in Mumbai and three bookies in Delhi in connection with the case. They are looking for two more bookies in Delhi.
