Meet the 24 centurions of IPL»

POINTS TABLE» I SCHEDULE»

====================================================================================

Brief Summary:

That is the USP of Chennai Super Kings. You can never write them off. They needed 58 from the last 24 balls. Dhoni as usual began his late counter-attack in Rampaul’s third over where he smashed him for a boundary and a six off consecutive balls. Once he was dismissed, 16 was needed off the last six balls and Jadeja proved why is he a special player! RCB dugout would be disappointed but we must not forget, Chennai Super Kings are the two-time IPL winners just because of that. They have the best batting line-up and they have once again thoroughly entertained everybody!

====================================================================================

The fifth one is an excellent bouncer and Gayle leaves that as well. Five dot balls vs Gayle, a sort of achievement. Nannes bowls a wide and spoils the over to an extent. RCB have their first runs on the board off a wide. Nannes tries to end the over with a dot ball, ends up bowling a low full-toss and Gayle smashes that for a boundary at long on. Five runs from the first over.

====================================================================================

TOSS: MSD has won the toss and he has decided to bowl first.

It’s yet another high-voltage clash as two-time IPL winners Chennai Super Kings take on the mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore. In their previous matches, while Chennai thrashed Kings XI Punjab by 10 wickets, the Kohli-led RCB defeated defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets.

Chennai’s top order hit the form just at the right time as Mike Hussey was lucky to escape on few occasions against Kolkata as he along with Murali Vijay chased the target with 10 wickets in hand. Dwayne Bravo has been handy with the ball and match.

The only problem with the Royal Challengers Bangalore is their dependency on their top order which includes the likes of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The middle-order hasn’t been tested in the tournament so far and the Chennai bowlers would be desperate to expose them.
