After some thinking, Mahela brings Pathan back into the attack. Perera was there at the crease for over twenty minutes and he had scored two runs from two balls. So when he got to play his third, he tried to hit it for a six, but it fell just inside the boundary into the safe hands of Johan Botha! Dale Steyn has come to the crease. Six runs from the over.

The third ball is a dot ball as well. The pressure was building up and Warner tried to clear the man at mid on, didn’t connect and Warner is out for a duck! Huge blow for the Delhi Daredevils as Warner was in some fine form in the last two matches (77, 61) . Mahela Jayawardene is the new batsman. And guess what, he nicks the first ball and Parthiv Patel gets his gloves to it but then grasses it. And Steyn ends the over with another good ball which went to first slip for no run. So it’s a maiden over to begin with for Steyn!

DA Warner c Anand Rajan b Steyn 0 (4b)

====================================================================================

TOSS:Delhi have won the toss and Mahela has decided to bat first.

After losing three matches in a row, Delhi Daredevils would be desperate to register their first victory as they lock horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad who have won two matches out of three in the Indian Premier League.

Delhi would be high on confidence after the return of Virender Sehwag who missed the first three games due to injury. Delhi’s batting line up this year hasn’t been formidable after they missed the services of Kevin Pietersen and Jesse Ryder for the entire tournament. Mahela Jayawardene has been in some good form Warner getting back into his groove is something which could have increased their confidence.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have been in great form in this edition and their players have been delivering as a unit, something which has worked against the toughest of the opponents. Thisara Perera has been their top player with the bat and the ball while Dale Steyn and Cameron White have played their roles pretty well so far.
