Mumbai: Sudhir Nanavati, who probed the infamous Sreeshant-Harbhajan ‘slapgate’ incident in IPL 2008, has said that the attack on Sreeshant was absolutely unprovoked. Speaking to a leading news channel Nanavati said that the footage of the incident, that was not made public, clearly showed that Harbhajan had tried to slap Sreeshant, not once but twice. He revealed that in the disciplinary hearing Harbhajan said that his actions were in the heat of the moment and apologised for his action. He also mentioned that both the players had told him that they were over that incident and had moved on. Earlier in the day, S Sreesanth cooked up a storm by claiming that it was Harbhajan Singh’s fault that led to the infamous ‘slapgate’ incident and that the attack on him was pre-meditated.
