Kolkata: England batsman Eoin Morgan, on Monday, said the friendly environment in his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) provides a better environment for learning.
"There is unity within the team. We are very good friends and so the environment makes it easy to learn. There are no qualms in asking any questions relating to cricket," Morgan told reporters here.
The Irish southpaw, who has played in all forms of the game, said that for him T20 is no different.
"The basics remain the same in all the formats. Just that things move along quickly in Twenty20, so you have to be faster," said the 26-year-old.
Besides the IPL team, he was also all praise for the city`s food.
"The food here is fantastic just that it is little spicier. So I always tell them to add less spice," Morgan said adding that the tourney has enabled foreign players adapt in a better way to the Indian conditions.
"Gone are the days when foreign players would fall sick due to the spicy food here. We do so much travelling and also the international tours have helped us adapt to the food here," he said.
