New Delhi: Mumbai Indians pacer Lasith Malinga on Saturday became the first bowler to take 100 wickets in Indian Premier League.
The Sri Lankan achieved this feat against Kings XI Punjab where he picked three wickets after giving 20 runs in his first over.
Malinga who has been the key bowler for Mumbai Indians dismissed Azhar Mahmood, Gurkeerat Singh and Praveen Kumar and ended with figures of 39/3.
Out of those 100 wickets, 48 have been bowled.
