Spot-fixing in IPL: BCCI suspends all three players

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended all the three Rajasthan Royals players arrested on charges of spot-fixing.
“BCCI is all for a clean sport. We have zero tolerance for corruption and match fixing,” Ratnakar Shetty, Chief Administrative Officer of the BCCI told reporters.
Earlier, S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila were arrested on charges of spot-fixing by the Delhi Police.
The police have also arrested seven bookies in Mumbai and three bookies in Delhi in connection with the case. They are looking for two more bookies in Delhi.
The special cell of the Delhi police arrested Sreesanth from his friend`s place in Mumbai while the other two cricketers were arrested last night from the team hotel at Nariman Point.
