New Delhi: Reactions to the arrest of three Rajasthan Royals players have been coming in thick and fast with former players, administrators, family members of the accused, all speaking their mind.

The Sports Ministry has asked for strict action against the guilty. "It is very unfortunate that Delhi Police have arrested some cricket players for their alleged role in the spot fixing in the ongoing IPL tournament," the Ministry said in a statement.
Former BCCI and ICC President, Sharad Pawar, said that the players should be banned if they are found guilty.
Member of Parliament Sharad Yadav said that the Indian Premiere League should be banned. He characterised the tournament as one filled with money, betting, hawala and sex.
Sreesanth’s father sees this incident as a conspiracy hatched by MS Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh.
Union Minister of State for HRD, Shashi Tharror said, "I am sad over the arrest. He is a good cricketer and pride of Kerala. We cannot say he has committed any wrong until the court processes are over. He will remain innocent until proven guilty.’’
