New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians by 37 runs in an Indian Premier League match, which the hosts dominated from the word go.
Put in to bat, Delhi boys posted a mammoth 207 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Mumbai fell short of the target by a margin of 37 runs as they could manage only 170 runs with the loss 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Delhi started off their innings in scintillating fashion with both openers Mahela Jayawardene and Virender Sehwag slamming half centuries. They amassed 135 runs for the first wicket partnership.
Over 16.2: Peterson run out. Peterson pulled across the line to deep mid wicket and looked for a quick second run, but Mahela was quicker and fired in an accurate throw at the keeper`s end. Mumbai 144/7 (16.2 Ovs).

Mumbai Indians captain Harbhajan Singh won the toss and decided to bowl first against Delhi Daredevils in an IPL match at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday.
The hosts team made one change to their squad leaving out left-arm spinner Pawan Negi and bringing back Ajit Agarkar. For Mumbai, Malinga came in for Clint McKay and Aiden Blizzard replaced James Franklin.
