Thisara Parera and Ojha are in for Mumbai. Ryder and Dinda are back for Pune.

07:35 pm, Toss Mumbai won the toss and decided to bat first.

In spite of being one of the favourites to win the tournament, Mumbai Indians haven’t come up with consistent comprehensive wins against their opponents. The star-studded batting line up hasn’t clicked up as a unit and they have been registering wins on the basis of contributions from one or two players in every match.

Meanwhile Pune Warriors India who were considered as the underdogs have come up with decent performances and they are still in the line to make through the play-offs. They were defeated by the Deccan Chargers by 13 runs in their previous encounter in which skipper Sangakkara and White, both were back to supreme form.

Lasith Malinga has been the only driving force for Mumbai and the injury of Kieron Pollard has further added to their woes. The major concern for Mumbai Indians is the form of skipper Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar. Bhajji has taken just three wickets in 10 matches while the little master has produced 94 runs from 5 innings.

Batsman to watch out for:

Mumbai Indians: He missed a few matches due to a finger injury and has been managed to score just 94 runs. Form is not something which eludes the master for long and Sachin Tendulkar might be all set for a big one against the Pune Warriors India.

Pune Warriors India: Manish Pandey was out for a first ball duck in the last match against Deccan Chargers and he would like to bury the past and provide his side a good opening stand.

The match begins at 8:00 pm
