New Delhi: In another significant development in the IPL molestation row, the alleged victim, Zohal Hamid, is reportedly willing to withdraw case against Luke Pomersbach.
Zohal is ready to withdraw the case against the Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman if Sidhartha Mallya apologises for his comments.
Zohal has sent a defamation notice to Sidhartha seeking unconditional apology post his tweets pointing fingers at her character.
After the incident came to light, Sidhartha had tweeted that, "The girl who is accusing Luke of hitting her fiancé was all over me last night. If he was her fiancé, she wasn`t exactly behaving like a future wife.”
The Delhi Police on Tuesday quizzed RCB manager Avinash Vaidya in connection with the molestation case.
Pomersbach was arrested on Friday after Zohal alleged that he molested her and hit her fiance Sahil Peerzada when he objected to the cricketer`s behaviour. Peerzada was punched in his ear following which he had to undergo a surgery.
