New Delhi: American national Zohal Hamid has decided to withdraw molestation case against Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach, her lawyer said on Wednesday.

The defamation case against Siddharth Mallaya will not be pursued as well.

Zohal had earlier sent a defamation notice to Siddharth Mallya seeking unconditional apology post his tweets pointing fingers at her character.

After the incident came to light, Sidhartha had tweeted that, "The girl who is accusing Luke of hitting her fiancé was all over me last night. If he was her fiancé, she wasn`t exactly behaving like a future wife.”

The Delhi Police on Tuesday quizzed RCB manager Avinash Vaidya in connection with the molestation case.

Pomersbach was arrested on Friday after Zohal alleged that he molested her and hit her fiance Sahil Peerzada when he objected to the cricketer`s behaviour. Peerzada was punched in his ear following which he had to undergo a surgery.
