London: England and Sussex all-rounder Luke Wright has revealed on his Twitter account that he has been told by the doctors he might have contracted Dengue Fever while playing for Pune Warriors in the lucrative Indian Premier League, and would be undergoing blood tests.
Wright returned home late last month for his uncle’s funeral, and had planned to go back this week, but instead he revealed his condition on Twitter. “Can’t remember feeling as bad as I have the last few days. Had to have a doc come to the house as I have a serious fever,” The Daily Mail quoted Wright’s tweet, as saying. “Got to go to A&E this morning for blood test! They think I may have picked up Dengue Fever in India. What ever it is I hope it goes very soon,” his tweet added. ANI
