A division bench, comprising justices Elipe Dharma Rao and M Venugopal, dismissed the petition by one Varaaki on the ground that the petitioner had moved the court without getting any information or particulars on steps being taken to conduct the IPL matches.

Association for those visiting the stadium to watch the matches were inadequate and caused a nuisance to the public.
