Toss: Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and elected to bat first.

Two changes in both the teams. In RR, Iqbal Abdulla and James Faulkner have replaced Abhishek Nayar and Tim Southee, whereas, in KKR, Shakib Al Hasan and Manvinder Bisla are in for Chris Lynn and Yusuf Pathan.

Within a few minutes from now, the 19th match of Indian Premier League`s seventh edition will kick start, in which Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals will be up against each other at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. It`s the only match of the day.

Skipper, Gautam Gambhir`s, awful form with the bat is still a major concern for the Kolkata franchise. Gauti has only managed to score a single in last four matches KKR have played. He hasn`t lead his team from the front so far, at least with the bat. In the first three matches of KKR, the southpaw made a hat-trick of ducks. And then in the last match he got dismissed after scoring a single.

Apart from the South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis and Manish Pandey, no other batsmen have shown consistency with the willow. Big hitter, Yusuf Pathan, too has failed to impressed with the bat, as he only managed to score 17 in the four outings, thus now.

Though, KKR started their campaign on a high by beating the title holders, Mumbai Indians, in the opening match of the tournament. But after that victory, they failed to continue with the winning momentum and lost two matches on-the-trot. And had it not been the stunning catch by Chris Lynn to dismiss A B de Villiers, Kolkata would have lost their last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Sharjah.

As it`s still early days in the tournament, KKR have a chance to bounce back in the tournament. The franchise is still placed at the third spot in the points table.

Apart from Jacques Kallis, the another foreign player in KKR, who has made an impact is certainly the mystery spinner Sunil Narine. The West Indian is the leading wicket-taker so far in the tournament with nine scalps in four matches. In fact, KKR bowling department has performed well so far, if compared TO their batting.

Rajasthan Royals too have four point after four matches. Very much like KKR, they too won their opening game but then suffered two consecutive defeats, before winning their last game against Bangalore.

RR is also facing issues with their opening combination of Abhishek Nayar and Ajinkya Rahane. They haven`t gave a solid opening partnership in first four matches of the League. But the good news for the franchise is that their skipper Shane Watson, an all-rounder, is back in form, especially with the bat.

The way RR bowlers have performed in their last game against RCB, it will certainly give the team much needed confidence. Medium pacer Rajat Bhatia and off-spinner Kane Richardson have been consistent while leg-spinner Pravin Tambe too came back strongly in the last match by scalping four wickets.

So, in today`s encounter, both the teams will look to end the UAE leg of their respective campaigns on a winning note.

The Teams (from):
