==============================================================

TOSS: RCB has won the toss and Virat Kohli has decided to bowl first.

Mumbai Indians and RCB have had a not-so-good season so far and the form of their skippers is a major concern for both the teams.

Mumbai Indians finally won their first match of the season against Kingx XI Punjab in front of the home crowd, where they chased down a formidable total of 168 runs with five wickets in hand. Mumbai will have to continue the winning momentum as they lost five matches in the UAE leg. The opening combination has still not worked for the Rohit Sharma-led side, and the skipper himself needs to find some form.

In the bowling department, Lasith Malinga – their spearhead, has struggled to pick wickets on a consistent basis, and Zaheer Khan too has leaked runs every now and then. Harbhajan Singh bowled two brilliant spells in the last two matches and the team management would want the Turbanator to weave his magic once again.

Royal Challengers Bangalore on the other hand have been disappointing considering the firepower they have in their batting line-up. AB de Villiers played a gem of an innings in their previous outing with the Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he remained unbeaten on 89 runs. RCB have won just three games out of six, and their batting hasn`t clicked as a unit so far in the series. Chris Gayle is yet to explode, and the Mumbai bowlers would be wary of the fact.

In the bowling department, RCB lack match-winners and even though Mitchell Starc has got them off to some good starts, he isn`t consistent which has hurt the team while defending low totals. Varun Aaron is someone who has the pace to trouble the best of the batsmen, and Virat Kohli would want his speedster to bowl his heart out against Mumbai.
