New Delhi: The most successful IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings are right at the top of the table after winning six games out of seven they have played so far in this edition. Though, Chennai started off their campaign on a poor note by losing to Kings XI Punjab in their opening game, they got their mojo back soon after. The major reason behind the CSK`s success is undoubtedly their opening pair of Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith. Both the openers are in fabulous form and are giving the bowlers sleepless nights with their whirlwind knocks every now and then. In the last seven matches, New Zealander McCullum has scored 281 runs, including three half centuries. On the other hand, the West Indian Smith has smashed four half centuries and is looking dangerous up the order in his yellow jersey. Both are explosive batsmen and are capable of changing the course of the game single-handedly. The duo has so far stitched more than fifty runs for the first wicket on four occasions. If they continue playing like this then it won`t be difficult for CSK to lift the trophy for the third time.
