Toss: RCB have won the toss and elected to bowl first.

RCB have done two changes as Rilee Rossouw and Harshal Patel are in for Albie Morkel and Yogesh Takawale. In SRH, Amit Mishra is being replaced by Ishant Sharma.

Within a few minutes from now, the 24th match of Indian Premier League`s seventh edition will kick start, in which Royal Challengers Bangalore will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. It`s the only match of the day.

After losing last three matches on the trot, Bangalore will look to beat Hyderabad in today`s encounter to get back to their wining ways.

Kohli, as a batsman has always proved his mettle but now it`s time for the aggressive cricketer to show his captaincy skills as well. RCB, might get the home advantage in today`s encounter as the match is scheduled to take place in Chinnaswamy Stadium, their home fortress, where they maintained a fabulous track record last season.

If SRH have four points in their kitty with two wins then RCB too have equal number of points as they started their campaign on a positive note by winning two back-to-back matches. But RCB on the basis of sightly better run-rate are ahead in the points table.

Major concern for RCB is that their explosive batsmen like Chris Gayle, Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and AB de Villiers haven`t really fired, thus far. Now the onus is on Kohli to get the best out of these stars, who the proved match winners.

Even after having one of the most dangerous batting line ups in the tournament, the Bangalore based franchise has already faced an embarrassment by scoring the third lowest total ever in IPL history, when they bowled out for a meager 70 in 15 overs against Rajasthan Royals.

RCB bowlers are in decent form overall, but the youngster who has impressed many with his bowling is Yuzvendra Chahal. So far, the leggie has picked up wickets in every match and has seven from five games.

On the other hand, Hyderabad franchise will once again rely on Aaron Finch and David Warner as far as their batting is concerned. Skipper, Shikar Dhawan hasn`t done anything noteworthy so far, whereas, Darren Sammy hasn`t got much opportunities to bat.

It`s high time that Dhawan should lead his team with examples and for that he needs to score. SRH bowlers, especially speedsters, Dale Steyn and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been performing well. But lead spinner Amit Mishra has to pull up his socks a bit. Mishra has flopped badly so far. He is leaking runs and also finding it difficult to take wickets.

Overall, it would be an interesting contest when RCB batsmen will be up against SRH bowlers.
