New Delhi: Premier Bangladeshi bowler Mustafizur Rahman made a name for himself in the recently concluded ninth edition of Indian Premier League.

The 20-year-old pacer was also awarded as the emerging player of the tournament as he scalped 17 wickets in 16 games for his franchise SunRisers Hyderabad.

After playing for two long months in the India, Mustafizur received a huge reception when he returned back home.

And now, Mustafizur is scheduled to join English county side Sussex next week for the NatWest T20 Blast and the Royal London One-Day Cup.

But, after playing so many high-pressure games within two months, his participation in uncertain, as the Bangladesh cricket officials said they feared the pace bowler may be suffering from burnout. “We will assess his condition before making a final decision on whether he’ll be allowed to play in England,” BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury told AFP.

Bangladesh team physio, Baizidul Islam seems worried about the bowlers recent workload as he said, “We must consider that he played 19 matches in two months after recovering from injuries,” Islam said. So there must be some fatigue....He needs some rest to remove the stress.
