IPL Governing Council to meet in Mumbai on Sunday

New Delhi: Indian Premier League Governing Council will have an emergency meeting in Mumbai on Sunday to discuss issues relating to three franchisers, according to cricket board sources.

The three franchise teams Rajasthan Royals, Kings Eleven Punjab and newly bought Kochi were given show cause notices by BCCI on September 29 as they had not complied with the rules governing the franchisers.

The Governing Council is expected to take a final decision on these three franchisers at the meeting.
