New Delhi: The Supreme Court will hear a plea seeking handing over of Justice Mukul Mudgal committee’s report, containing names of some players, to the Justice RM Lodha panel today.
The plea was filed by Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) on Monday and the apex body agreed to admit it in court on Thursday.
The CAB application will come up for hearing at 2.00 p.m.
According to Aditya Verma, secretary of CAB, handing over the sealed cover with names of 13 players in it will to Lodha committee will help the latter to understand extent of corruption in Indian cricket.
CAB believes understanding the malaise that has crept into cricket will help the Lodha committee in proposing administrative reforms required to restructure BCCI and also prevent further financial irregularities and scams.
