Praveen once again charged down the wicket off the next ball, Mohit banged it short, Praveen mistimed it towards mid-on for a couple of runs. Axar is back. One a hat-trick! And he gets it! Jadeja was looking to play a cut shot off the first ball, didn't connect as the ball went into the hands of the keeper past his bat. There was a huge appeal, the umpire's finger went up. Even though Jadeja looked unhappy, replays suggested Jadeja had feathered that into the hands of the wicketkeeper. Massive achievement for KXIP considering their campaign so far this season. Faulkner is the next man in. Can he play another blinder today? Four from the over and another wicket for Axar. Under David Miller, Punjab have lost five out of the six matches they played so far, where the South African left-hander's contribution has been of just 76 runs.
Punjab have talented players at their disposal and it's just that they need to click as a unit to be back on track.
The Lions on the other hand have been in sublime form and are the table-toppers having won six out of the seven matches.
They haven't put a foot wrong and with several match-winners at their disposal, they are the top contenders to win the title.
