IPL 2015: Corey Anderson joins Aaron Finch in Mumbai Indians' injury list

New Delhi: New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson joins Aaron Finch in the injury list of fledging Mumbai Indians squad. The 24-year-old star will head home after being ruled out of the 2015 edition of Indian Premier League due to a minor finger fracture.

Anderson missed the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore due to the injury and now, it's learnt that he will head home for further treatment. Another MI player, Finch has already been ruled out of IPL due to a hamstring injury last week.

The injury cast a doubt over Anderson's availability for the upcoming Kiwi tour of England.

The Kiwi player had a good start in the tournament, scoring two fifties and notching up 114 runs at an average of 38. His compatriot Adam Milne, who was enrolled with Royal Challengers Bangalore, was also ruled out of the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament even without bowling a ball with a heel injury he sustained during the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
